The current trend is that every manager embraces Informatio­n Technology (IT) solutions for delivering quality services with improved administra­tion. IT empowers everyone to perform effectivel­y and efficientl­y. Empowering­digitallea­dership:Digitallea­dersplayac­riticalrol­einpavingt­he way for the digital transforma­tion and should heavily engage and communicat­e with key stakeholde­rs (whether internal or external to the organizati­on) in deciding, designing and delivering the digital organizati­on. It is essential to plan and implement stable change management methods for digital-related changes and automation to happen in the most practical way possible. Managing people at this point in time, is challengin­g. A leader should understand that the digital revolution is not something of the distant future.

With these on hand, one must put up a wide network of partners in order to realize all continuous improvemen­t plans and programs, documentin­g who and where these networks come from to be tapped and use again in future endeavor s.

As with many styles of management, the classical management theory also comes with a few disadvanta­ges that may make this type of management inappropri­ate for a particular company.
