Mabalacat City's continuous drive

-

MABALACAT CITY, while still a component city, laboring to become a highly urbanized one and become weaned from provincial rule and monitoring, is ablaze with a list of projects, social and instructional, is poised to implement these projects this year 2022.

In my morning tete-atete with Rosan S. Paquia, head of the City Planning and Development Office or CPDO, he sounded optimistic that the planned projects and activities of the city are ready to be rolled out and implemented this year.

Foremost of the infrastructure projects thought of by City Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo and his team are the Dolores entrance to the existing perimeter road linking the city to the Clark Freeport Zone and thereby decongest the rush hour traffic build up at Poblacion and the market site, the Atlu Bola-NLEX connectivity road and more social amelioration and assistance projects, focus on the youth and sports development, senior citizens and the women sect or. * * *

Expected to be part of the Garbo administration are Frank Madlangbayan, the incoming city administrator and the already reporting legal officer, Atty. Francis A. Dimaliwat. With these excellent management officers, plus the expertise of Rosan, the Garbo administration can be assured of a very dependable and efficient service, a vast improvement from the past occupants' performance. The internally-generated revenue of the city has been increasing according to Rosan. This, plus the growing gross income earned (GIE) from the investors at nearby Clark, constitute to the expanding financial portfolio. As it is, the city still continues to have a parallel development with the Zone which attracts foreign and local investors because of its good management direction.

With the entry of Frank Madlangbayan and Atty. Dimaliwat into the service, we expect more professional rendition of public service.

Frank, for his part, has been a vital cog in the operational management of Clark Development Corporation, he being the Vice President for Operations in his previous position.

Also, Atty. Dimaliwat is frank, straightforward and is often misconstrued as "terror" by his subordinates because of his no nonsense style of management. I know him as a friend, cordial and accommodating.
