Clean, green and beautiful
THIS IS the vision of Clark Development Corporation towards its surroundings and the environment. And it is doing much to achieve it as it install several equipment and motivations to perpetuate its goal.
Just look at the bike lanes. Paved and enchanted to give bikers a safe and exclusive spot for this activity, these areas are maintained clean and dirt-free to allow bikers hassle-free rides inside CDC.
Rules are rules at CDC especially those concerning traffic. Signs are conspicuous and it takes only a hard-headed driver to break them. The Clark Clean, Green and Beautiful campaign was launched "to increase environmental awareness and conservation inside the Clark Freeport Zone.
The Environment Permit Division (EPD) of the CDC heads the campaign as it calls on all stakeholders: guests, bikers, workers, locators and others to contribute their share in promoting environmental upkeep and sustainability.
The Communications Division is tasked with coming up with information dissemination materials to adequately inform all concerned about the importance of the campaign and urge the public to cooperate sensibly.
Additionally, more infrastructure set ups are being implemented to prop up the existing ones and help build an enhanced and aesthetically impressive Zone.
Incidentally, Clark Development Corporation, now headed by retired general Manuel R. Gaerlan, observed its 28 years of service with high marks in the number of locators and investments, workers and revenues.
It continues to be involved in community projects of its neighbors foremost of which are the fine efforts expended in the COVID 19 r esponse.
Periodically, it gives out technical and financial kits to nearby communities and participates in their events and activities. CDC is a substantial contributor to the country's coffers as it moves gainfully in its path.
It is optimistic that in the coming years, it becomes a more participative facility in the nation's drive for ultimate economic recovery.
