Photos changes reading attitudes

Pupils’reading ability nowadays has a tendency to decline with the ongoing change in terms of their habit in their love of reading. Factors surrounding the behavior of a child when it comes may arise and lapses are evident in terms oof their perception on how they recognize words without understanding and comprehension on what they read. There was a certain change in the attitude toward language teaching and toward the learner. Stress was laid on the communicative aspect of teaching reading but also on the learner and their contribution to learning the target language.

Photonary is an approach in reading were pupils are tasked to read certain passages accompanied by a picture on which the said passage describes a picture sown from the reading material presented to the pupil for them to easily understand and perceived on the idea as based from the passage itself and from the picture shown from the material

Teachers are bound to keep pupils’abreast with the growing demands of the most important resources of a nation – HUMAN. It is indeed very alarming that a pupil who is not fed with the proper knowledge and skill pertaining to his/her ability would be a big waste in terms of practicality in which it is perceived as the most important nowadays. Change is meant to bring something different. We are creatures of habit. Routines become automatic, but change jolts us into consciousness, sometimes in uncomfortable ways. Too many differences can be distracting or confusing. As such, these distractions lead us to failure to recognize the need for change.
