MODULAR SETTING AND ICT

"Education must continue to be provided" (Leonor Briones). Technology is required for ICT. Technology is a way of life. We already live in a world where technology is used to communicate, sell, submit, and buy everything.
"We don't just use technology; we live it," Godfrey Reggio says. Hands-on experience is required to manipulate ICT. The majority of schools choose a modular strategy in the school year 2021-2022. According to a survey, parents prefer modular classes to online classes for cost reasons.
Individualized instructions allow learners to employ self-learning modules produced by their teacher in modular learning. The majority of these modules are hardcopies, however some have been digitized. Modular learning is self-paced, and students usually only ask questions when they don't comprehend something.
The teacher-student relationship is weakened by modular learning. The teacher may request an online class so that he may thoroughly explain the lesson, but the students may choose to simply answer the module. On this concept, there are underlying causes. One problem is a lack of connectivity (wifi). They can't afford to take on each subject's workload. The majority of their loads were absorbed by Google Meet/Google Classroom. Others only have a few gadgets, such as a cellphone. For instance, three members in a family share a single cellphone.
On the other hand, the modular approach has advantages. Some pupils who enjoy reading, are pessimistic, or have a disability can benefit from this instructional method. They can also study and recollect previous classes, which makes it easier for them. The fact that the module is free is also a comfort for parents. It's also simpler to respond.
W hether modular or online, both involve teacher and student ICT integration. It is necessary to retool skills in the use of technology on a regular basis in order for learning and teaching to become both easy and pleasurable for both parties.
