CANDABA - Investors and businessmen in this municipality can now expect faster and more efficient service during their renewal of permits as the local government here on Thursday launched electronic business permit and licensing system (eBPLS).

Mayor Ren e Maglanque together with Department of Interior and Local Government Pampanga Provincial Director Myrvi ApostolFabia,

Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)III Regional Director Reynaldo T. Sy, DICTGDTB Director Arnold de Castro, Department of Trade and Industry Provincial Director Elenita Ordonio led ribbon-cutting and signing of memorandum of agreement for the use of the new system.

The eBPLS is an innovative approach to fasttracking the application process of registering and renewing business permits electronically, enabling local government units to deliver public service more efficiently.

Maglanque said the transition to automated system will make the local government’s service efficient and will also invite investors to do business in their municipality.

Sy, meanwhile, said lauded the initiative of the local government in partnering with different government agencies to provide better service to its constituents.

Fabia, for her part, expressed her commendation to the local government for another project that is aimed at upgrading the quality of service of the local government.
