Jericho Rosales to star in an international project

Jericho Rosales will headline ABS-CBN's international drama series titled Sellblock. The announcement was made by ABS-CBN International Production and Co-Production head Ruel Santos Bayani through an article published in international news website Variety on March 15, 2022.

Sellblock is a co-production between ABSCBN International Production and Co-Production and Philippines’ BlackOps Studios Asia, the United States’Story Arch Pictures, and Hong Kong’s Agog Film.

Mt. Bayani was quoted saying: “In his nearly three-decade-long career, Jericho has earned the title of ‘Asian Drama King’and is one of our network’s finest homegrown talents and country’s top leading men. We are thrilled for this opportunity to showcase Filipino talent on the global stage.”

Aside from Jericho, Sellblock also stars Tirso Cruz III, Cherry Pie Picache, Ronnie Lazaro, Rosanna Roces, Mon Confiado, and RK Bagatsing.

“They will be using our sound stages because big sets are going to be built. It’s a prison drama. They are in Bilibid. We’re building the set because it is very difficult filming a whole series [in an actual prison]. Hindi naman kaya na sa actual location kami mag-su-shoot. It’s something we’ve been developing pre-pandemic pa, 2019. “We were already supposed to produce it, and then everything happened — the pandemic and the shutdown — so na-delay. We thought hindi matutuloy, but then, nagakaroon ng new partners and then na-revive.” he narrates.

Currently, Jericho is still in New York as he takes acting workshops. His last TV project was the 2018 drama series Hal i k.

For his 95th birthday celebration, Angel Locisn put her dad into hot seat via her Yoou Tube Channel with husband Neil Arce. Mr. Angelo Colmenares, was asked by her daughter if there is one among her exboyfriends that he dislikes very much.

"Huwag kang magalit ha! "Kaya lang nakalimutan ko pangalan,e!"

Angel's ex-boyfriends were: Luis Manzano, Phil Younghusband, Oyo Sotto, and the deceased Miko Sotto. All of the above mentioned guys are already married. Angel got curious about her father's reaction when Neil approached him that he's proposing to Angel in 2019.

"First of all, I want you to be in good hands and nasa age ka na."

Angel also asked her dad what lesson could he possibly impart her. "Kailangan talaga to be happy in a married life, take good care of each other every day and put Christ in the center of your life."

It was in June 29,2019 when Neil and Angel announced their engagement. They've been friends for seven years. At that Time Angel was 36 while Neil was 38. And finally they tied the knots via civil ceremony in July 26, 2021 in Taguig City.
