“I’m in a place na masaya lang.
"Hindi siya ganun kaseryoso pero seryoso rin at the same time. Meron kang inspirasyon, meron kang motivation.
"Ganun yung sitwasyon ko ngayon."
The relationship between Herbert and Ruffa is now an open book.
How did their relationship started?
"Actually, nagumpisa yan nung lapitan ako ni Ruffa/ Gusto niyang ituloy and studies niya.
“Ganun lang, ganun lang. Parang, siyempre ako, I motivated her to go back to school. Gagraduate na siya, by July, ga-graduate na siya.”
Ruffa was inspired bcecause Herbert finished his studies.He graduated with a degree in Philosophy and Letters at San Beda College and took Master of Arts degree im other schools.
“E, kasi gusto niya dahil alam niya nagtapos ako, e.
"So, parang, ‘Puwede pa ba ngayon at this age?’
"So, sabi ko, ‘Bakit hindi?’ So, naghanap si ya.
"Sabi ko, ‘Hanapin mo yung ETEEAT [ Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation],’text lang lahat ito, ha, text, calls.
"So, hinanap niya. So, nakita niya PWU [Philippine Women’s University] .
"'Sige, e, di pasukin mo na ‘yan.' I’m just pushing her to just move on, move forward.”
How was he able to convince Annabelle Rama?
"Alam kasi sa mundo ng showbiz kung gaano ito kahigpit pagdating sa love life ng anak.
“Di ko rin alam. Di ko rin alam.
"I guess ang character ni Ruffa is napansin ko ‘yan, ni-research ko.
“Si Ruffa is the kind person na ipaglalaban niya ang pagmamahal niya to the point na kahit awayin niya yung pamilya niya, and in this case, Tita Ananbelle, siyempre. At ipinakita niya yun.
"And si Tita Annabelle naman is a person na hindi, ‘I want you to be happy, I want you to be okay. Para hindi ka na dumaan sa kung ano man ang struggle sa buhay, di ba?’
“Siguro sa tingin ko, si Tita Annabelle was able to convince herself na matanda na si Ruffa, e. She has her own family already, may mga anak na siya.
“Si Ruffa naman, naintindihan na niya na ginagawa lang naman ni Tita Annabelle yun because of the practicality.
“Pero nadaanan na rin ni Ruffa yun, e, di ba? I think what Ruffa is looking for is more of, ‘Sino ba yung puwede kong makasama na puwedeng mag-motivate sa akin?’”
“So, ang tanong kung meron ba kayong commitment? Wala, e, talagang we just support each other.
"Hindi ko nga alam kong support na nagtutulungan kami, but it’s the conversation na kapag nag-uusap kami, parang ‘Oo nga, you have a point.’ Ako naman, ‘Oo nga you have a point.’
“I cannot describe that kind of relationship, it’s either friends kayo or more than friends kayo.” * * *

Max showed the tattoo— which is July 6, 2020 in roman numerals, her son Anakin's birthday— on her r i bcage.
In her caption, she wrote, "Back to the basics [emoji]."
It wasn't the first time Max has bared some skin on Instagram. On Monday, March 14, 2022, the 29-year-old Kapuso leading lady flaunted on the social media platform her va-va-voom bod in a lingerie photo shoot.
