Team MCG’s ‘Bayung Mabalacat’ grand rally set on May 7

-

MABALACAT CITY – This city’s election frontrunners incumbent city Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and Vice Mayor Gerald Aquino along with the entire Team MCG are gearing for another massive people’s rally leading to a landslide victory in the May 9 elections.

Dubbed, “Bayung Mabalacat”, the grand rally, which is set on May 7, 2022, at the Mabiga Open Grounds, is intended to cap Team MCG’s 45-day campaign.

Team MCG will be in full force for the said event that revolves around ‘crusaders and superheroes’ theme to echo a unified stand on being vanguards of people-centered and pro-active local governance. Key messages on campaign platform will be delivered to flesh out the Bayung Mabalacat vision.

Meanwhile, Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia Pineda, who are also both undisputed in their respective run for public office, are expected to grace the Bayung Mabalacat stage to reaffirm endorsement to the whole Team MCG slate.

Also, Outgoing Councilor Win-Win Garbo and Board Member Benny Jocson, who are both leading the Provincial Board Member race in the first district, will also be up on stage to join the rally.

For his part, Mayor Garbo acknowledges that being an election frontrunner places him at the receiving end of political attacks. Despite a number of propaganda and disinformation being peddled against him, he is still optimistic that Mabalacat City will have a peaceful and credible May 2022 poll.

He also furthered that the ‘real challenge’in this election season is not about beating his competitors in surveys or in staging huge rallies, but it is more about surpassing the achievements of his first term as local chief executive.

(PR)
