The secret to the student¶s overall well being is having a suitable physical activity. 3hysi cal (ducation in schools poses far reaching impact encompassing increased physical health of the students and performing better in their academics. 0ore than the physical activities being undertaNen in every sport, physical education teaches learners vital life sNills pertinent in their discovery of life while cultivating their health and well being. $dvocating positive mindset regarding e[ercise in their early age will aid them to have a healthy body and mind as they grow up. &hildren who have regular 3hysical (ducation instructions in their school can e[perience benefits that can help them in pursuing the life they envision. :ith physical education, students will improve motor sNills and increases muscle strength and bone density which will be an avenue for students to engage in health activity outside the school. ,t also motivates children to e[pand their sNills by gripping the fundamentals of one sport which maNes it easier for them to master the rules of the other. 6tudents will reali]e the significance of having a healthy balanced diet which will teach them to care for themselves. 5egular e[ercise decreases stress and an[iety, contributes healthy sleep pat terns, resulting to better mental health, better functioning of the immune system and the overall well being of the children. 0oreover, physical education develops cooperation within children that enables them to learn essential communication and social sNills. ,t is impor tant to have the opportunity to Nindle these types of sNills while being healthy. )urthermore, as physical education involves playing team sports will pave the way for the students to build and reinforce leadership and good sportsmanship. 3laying different parts on a team and obtaining new sNills inspires students to respect themselves and their peers. ,t can teach them how to be understanding towards others and support them during struggling times. &onfidence and camaraderie as well as self esteem can be built through gestures liNe hand shaNe, a pat on the bacN or a high five from teammate and earning praise from coaches or other players during their game. This can result to increase students¶ confi dence to trust their abilities and to progress their sNills within their sport. $nd also, it should be taught to students that self esteem should not rely on winning or losing but in every part they taNe in a team and allowing themselves to learn from every opportunity. :ithin team sports, children will learn self discipline and the essence of goal setting. They can learn that there will always be losers and winners but accepting defeat and victories and to get themselves bacN up when needed or motivates those around them to carry on is really vital.
