SM Hypermarke­t Clark unveils giant sushi boat

CLARK FREEPORT— The SM Hypermarke­t Street Food Fest is back - bigger and yummier than ever!

As part of the Street Food Fest, SM Hypermarke­t Clark unveiled a giant sushi boat at the second canopy of SM City Clark’s Skyline on October 1.

The giant sushi boat was filled with 6,000 pieces of sushi prepared by ITO’s Overtones Sushi Bar and Japanese Restaurant.

Present during the unveiling of the sushi boat were SM Markets Assistant Vice President Frances Corsiga, ITO's Overtones President Ar. Joanifer O. Abubo, celebrity chef Boy Logro, SM Hypermarke­t Operations Manager Maika Guinto, and SM City Clark Mall Manager Jerwin Jalandoni.

After the unveiling ceremonies, everyone at the food fest got a taste of the yummy sushi.

According to SM Hypermarke­t Clark Manager Eme Velasquez said the Street Food Fest features over 50 street food stalls and grocery booths, creative photo booths, carnival games, cooking demos, celebrity appearance­s, a live band, loads of exclusive promos, and more.

Velasquez added that the street food stalls offered a variety of Pinoy favorites including lumpia, barbecue, empanada, siopao, fishball, bibingka, puto bumbong, biko, chicharon, okoy, fried chicken, and more.

Aside from local street foods, festival-goers can also buy products from Nestle Magic Sarap, Nestle All Purpose Cream, Knorr Seasoning, Knorr Cubes, Knorr Soup, Purefoods Hotdog, Purefoods Heat & Eat, Lucky Me, Alaska Crema All Purpose Cream, 555 Sardines, 555 Tuna, CDO Hotdog, CDO Tocino, CDO Chicken Franks,

Bounty Fresh Chicken, and Farm Fresh Liempo.

The SM Hypermarke­t Street Food Fest took a break for two years due to the pandemic. This year, the awardwinni­ng festival proves itself once more to be the biggest celebratio­n of the richest street food culture in the world gathering the tastiest street grub, biggest food brands, and the hottest chefs and stars.
