GETTING RID OF BULLYING
ANTONIA J. CANLAS
Bullying is the practice of picking on someone who is socially or physically weaker than you are. The way guys and girls go about doing it differs. Boys typically use physical threats, whilst female typically use verbal threats. A victim of bullying is likely to face one of three outcomes. The sufferer feels awful to the point where she considers killing herself. The victim typically holds themselves responsible for being bullied. Second, the victim also endures emotional suffering and may struggle with issues like depression and poor selfesteem. These two issues lead to subpar academic performance, and the victim can even decide to drop out of school. Bullying falls into one of three categories. The first type of bullying, which primarily affects guys, is physical. In this situation, a bully may strike or kick his victim with the aim to harm him. In other instances, the victim is just being pushed as a means of exerting dominance. Bullying persists even when a bully makes any of these threats. The concealing of a victim's possessions is another possible aspect of this bullying. The third type of bullying, which primarily affects women, is verbal in nature. This type of bully will slur, taunt, or otherwise degrade her victims. Bullying in relationships comes in third. Bullies that use this tactic disregard their victims, and dissuade them from joining their organizations. You may take precautions to keep bullies away from you. You must first recognize your strengths and focus on those rather than the flaws a bully would point out. Using this understanding, you may put the other anti-bullying strategy of stepping away from the bully into practice. By doing this, you will prevent the bully from having the chance to manipulate your emotions, which is what would happen if you become furious. You may even add humor to the scenario or just smile in recognition of it to make it more intriguing. Keep yourself safe while you are being bullied if you are unable to leave the situation. You should also be aware that bullying is never acceptable.
