National University opens doors in Clark Freeport
CLARK FREEPORT -- National University (NU) will soon be opening its Pampanga campus in Clark this coming March.
The school is set to offer senior high school and collegiate courses to Kapampangan students in the Metro Clark area and neighboring towns.
NU Marketing Head Renz Raynadas and Program Chair on General Education Gerald Escleto made the announcement during a press conference with the Pampanga Press Club at Park Inn Clark on Tuesday.
Escleto said NU will be offering senior high school programs for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMMS) Strands.
NU will initially offer collegiate courses in Accountancy,
Marketing Management, Tourism Management, Architecture, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Communication Arts and Political Science.
Raynadas said NU has is now accepting applicants for enrollment and will formally open its doors this March at the Clark Tech Hub 8.
The SM Group of Companies acquired majority ownership of the National University.
The all-out support of the SM Group strengthened the university as a higher institution with the building of new infrastructure, improved and upgraded laboratory all of which are focused in academic excellence.
NU is a founding member of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and is a pioneer of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU). Its international affiliations and memberships include the Association of Southeast Asia Higher Institutions of Learning (ASAIHL) and the International Association of Universities (IAU).
