Clearer skies and lesser crimes, – these are just few observations amidst the COVID-19.

Pandemic brought families even closer. Before, due to the busy life and schedule of parents from their work and children to their studies, it’s rare for all the members of the family to have quality time together for a longer time. Family time is being neglected due to their everyday rush. Everyone was occupied with their jobs and daily life and could not spare enough time to their loved ones. But Covid-19 Pandemic has changed these. Due to quarantine, where most people are mandated to stay home, it opens an opportunity for every family to spend quality time. There is now more time for family to bond together. They can now share laughter and memories. They can now cook their favorite dish, try different drinks and even Netflix and Chill for the whole day. Above all, it rekindles the love. It reconnects the compassion. It reminds them that it’s the family that stays against all odds. It shelters the environment. The pandemic significantly recuperates air quality in various places all over the world, it lessens toxic emission, it reduces water and noise pollution, and further lessens the pressure on the tourist destinations, which may contribute with the beautification and restoration of the ecological system. Moreover, many families started to care more in the environment and became plantitos and plantitas at home which may positively impact the Mother Earth. May this pandemic bring lesson to everyone. May our old bad practices be thrown away and keep the good ones. Pandemic proves that every cloud has a silver lining.
