-

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Members of Quota Pampanga visited Bahay Pag-ibig the other day as part of their social service program for the disadvant aged .

They hoped to bring comfort to the seniors hosted by the facility.

The group also brought with them food and medicines which were turned over to the administrator of the said facility.

The Quota members interacted with the seniors and brought food from Jollibee Foods Corporation and mascot to entertain the seniors.

Quota member Malu Garbes said the event is part of the social service program of the organization for the year.

Quota Pampanga was once part of Quota International.

On September 30, 2020, the Quota International Board of Directors voted to propose the dissolution of Quota International, Inc., The primary cause for this decision was the drop of Quota's membership below a level that was viable to sustain the organization going forward.

Despite this, Quota Pampanga members decided to continue the remaining programs of the group in Pampanga.

Quota Pampanga remains operational from the contributions of its members and the desire of the members to continue their social service programs.

Quota Pampanga is active in programs for disadvantaged children, bringing donations for the SPED class, among ot her s.

Quotarians are known especially for their service to the deaf, hard-ofhearing, and speech-impaired individuals and poor women and childr en.

Quota members share the values of serving and encouraging others, developing friendships, and promoting international understanding.
