14 candidates vie for 2024 Mutya Ning San Fernando

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Fourteen candidates of the Mutya Ning San Fernando 2024 showed their wit and talent during the talent competition and press presentation at the SM City Pampanga Even Center on Saturday.

Councilor Brenz Gonzales, co-chairperson of the Mutya Ning Kapampangan 2024, said the committee held rigorous screening for this year's candidates to ensure that the city presents its finest representative for the Mutya Ning Kapampangan 2024.

“Mas kaunti ang candidates natin ngayon kasi we made sure na lahat ng candidates natin ay pasok na rin sa 5’3 height at age qualifications ng Mutya Ning Kapampangan (MNK) para ‘yung winner natin ay siguradong didiretso na sa MNK,” Gonzales said.

He added that that the screening process also ensured that all candidates embody the intelligence, exemplary traits, and grace synonymous of Fernandinas.

"This pageant is not about pitting women against each other. Instead, it's a platform to highlight their beauty, talent, and intelligence and even at this stage, we already recognize them all as winners,” Gonzales said.

The coronation night of Mutya Ning San Fernando 2024 will be held on May 19, 2024 as part of the month-long celebration of Pyestang Fernandino.

The Mutya Ning San Fernando 2024 will take home P200,000, the first runner-up will get P100,000 while P50,000 will be given to the second runner-up.
