Ang Globe Telecom nitunol sa donasyon sa Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI) nga P2 milyones nga scholarship grants alang sa 120 economically-disadvantaged Grade 1 pupils sa Center of Excellence sa Public Elementary Education (Centex) sa Manila ug Batangas.

Ang pundo nirepresentar sa natigom sa pagpaminos sa Christmas gift giving ug parties sa Globe sa miaging tuig.

Agi sa donasyon, ang Globe nisagop sa upat ka Grade 1 classes sa duha ka Centex schools.

Ang mga tinun-an hatagan og mga libro, pagkaon, uniporme ug ubang galamiton sa klase ug mga magtutudlo hatagan og libre nga pagbansay.

Kabahin kini sa kampanya ubos sa pagpagsiugda sa AFI nga gitawag og “A Class of Your Own” diin gidesenyo sa pagdasig sa mga kompaniya ug mga pribadong institusyon sa pagsuporta sa Centex, labina sa pagbansay sa mga magtutudlo ug pagpalambo sa mga tinun-an.

“For the second year, we have chosen the Gift of Donation to our valued partners. We wanted to give them something that goes beyond material things which has a long-term impact on the lives of the beneficiaries and will live long after many Christmases has passed,” matod ni Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO.
