MTRCB midepensa sa ‘Maid in Malacañang’

Sa giluwatan nga pamahayag sa Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) may labot sa kontrobersiya sa pelikulang ‘Maid in Malacañang,’ gipasabot nga usa lang kini ka dramatization ug dili makonsiderar nga documentary.

Taho sa ABS-CBN nga ang maong official statement gipagawas niadtong Hulyo 4, 2022 sa hapon sa dihang nanawagan ang simbahan sa pag-boycott sa maong pelikula.

Ang MTRCB gipangulohan ni Lala Sotto-Antonio, tinudlo ni Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. kinsa ni-review sa maong film ug mihatag og Parental Guidance (PG) rating.

“We also note that the said motion picture is a dramatization of the last 72 hours of the Marcos family in the Palace in 1986 and does not purport to be a documentary.

“While the PG rating serves to guide viewers, and was assigned by the Board based on its own judgment applying contemporary Filipino cultural values as standard, parents are encouraged to conduct their own assessment and use their best judgment to guide their children’s viewing activities,” tipik sa natala sa maong MTRCB statement.
