DSWD 7, Cebu City milagda og MOA alang sa tutoring Program
Ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), pinaagi sa Social Technology Unit sa DSWD Field Office 7, nagsugod sa nasudnong pagpatuman sa Tara, BASA! Tutoring Program atol sa national kickoff ceremony niadtong Marso 8, 2024, sa Executive Building sa Cebu City Hall sa Cebu City.
Ang Tara, BASA! Ang Tutoring Program kay usa ka holistic social welfare and development model nga nagmugna og learning ecosystem diin ang mga estudyante sa kolehiyo gikan sa mga pamilyang ubos ang kinitaan mahatagan og mga tutor ug Youth Development Workers (YDWs).
Kini nga mga magtutudlo motabang sa naglisod ug dili magbabasa sa elementarya nga mga estudyante sa 20 ka adlaw nga mga sisyon sa pagbasa human sa klase.
Ang mga YDW mopahigayon sa mga sisyon sa uban sa mga ginikanan o mga tigbantay sa pag-atiman ug pagpanalipod sa mga bata ug paggiya kanila nga mahimong unang magtutudlo sa balay o isip magtutudlo isip nanay-tatay.
Kini nga programa, nga naggamit sa cash-for-work (CFW) nga mekanismo, gilusad ug
pilot-tested sa National Capital Region (NCR) sa Agusto 2023 ug gi-evaluate kini.
Ang mga resulta nagpakita nga ang programa nagmalampuson sa pagkab-ot sa gituyo nga resulta sa pagpalig-on sa mga pamilya ug pagsukol sa pagkat-on sa kakabos. Base sa kalampusan sa pilot nga implementasyon, gipalugway sa Departamento ang programa ngadto sa pito (7) ka ubang mga lugar sa tibuok nasod, lakip ang Bulacan Province, Malolos City, San Jose del Monte City, Quezon Province, Samar Province, Taraka ug Marawi Cities sa Lanao del Sur, ug General Santos City.
Ang programa magpadayon usab sa pagpatuman sa NCR.
Si DSWD 7 Regional Director Shalaine Marie Lucero naglaum nga adunay positibo nga resulta sa pagpatuman sa programa sa tibuok dakbayan.
“Let us look forward to the successful implementation of the program in all areas together with our partners from the LGU, DepEd, CHED, state universities and colleges, students, parents and learners, and other concerned stakeholders,” pasabot ni Director Lucero atol sa iyang welcome remarks sa seremonyas.

Si Lucero, DSWD-7 Social Technology Unit Head Ligaya Dael, CNU College of Teacher Education Dean Dr. Venus Cortes, Cebu City Councilor Francisco Espares, DepEd Cebu City Division Schools Supt. Dr. Nimfa Bongo, ug Executive Director sa Cebu Women and Family Affairs Commission Regina Lingaolingao ningsaksi sa MOA pinirmahay.
Ang naglisod o dili mga magbabasa nga mahimong benepisyaryo sa mga sesyon sa pagtudlo sulod sa 20 ka adlaw atol sa summer break sa publikong eskwelahan.
Ang programa mokuha og 584 ka mga tinun-an sa edukasyon sa ilang ikaduha ngadto sa ikaupat nga tuig gikan sa Cebu Normal University (CNU) isip mga tutor ug YDW sa programa.
Niini nga gidaghanon, 487 ang magsilbing tutor sa 4,865 ka mga tinun-an nga nagsunod sa 1:10 ratio. Ang 97 mao ang mga YDW nga maoy mo-facilitate sa Nanay-Tatay Teacher sessions alang sa mga ginikanan sa mga tinun-an subay sa 1:50 ratio.
