Constructing New Realities

AMIDST RISING RENTALS AND LIMITED RESIDENTIAL OPTIONS, THE STYLISH AND INNOVATIVE M RESIDENCES IS An INVESTMENT FOR CITY DWELLERS To CONSIDER

- WORDS ADRIENNE TAN

In the annex of Mahogany Place 3’s peaceful neighbourhood emerges M Residences, a stretch of townhouses within one of Taguig’s most exclusive subdivisions.

This new development by V. Consunji Inc. (VCI) is close to home for construction veteran and namesake founder, Victor Consunji, who happily resides in one of the properties with his wife, interior designer Maggie Wilson-consunji, and their inquisitive child, Connor.

ROOM FOR GROWTH

Conceptualised from modern design principles and a wealth of insight as a property developer, M Residences is Consunji’s alluring response to the challenges posed by urban living.

“People are programmed to look at space,” begins Consunji about what he believes to be one of the most underrated commodities in real estate. “I’m not just talking about floor space; I’m also referring to vertical space,” he adds, stressing the significance of fresh air and natural sunlight to wellbeing.

Aerin Townhouse, Elise Statehouse, and Kiara House are three distinct collections of homes that offer customisable layouts to fit the everchanging needs of residents. These options are meant to expand as lives do.

“We hope to provide comfortable living spaces that encourage people to be themselves and still come together under one roof as a family,” Consunji says,

acknowledging the common issue of settling for residential options cut-off from commercial districts or consequently stacked on top of congested city quarters.

A SUSTAINABLE TRAIL

“It’s not a perfect world, but I want to create a balance of affordability and space,” Consunji says. In collaboration with architect Dan Lichauco and interior studio Casa Consunji, “a lot of common sense design went into constructing M Residences,” he adds. “If it’s good enough for me and my family, it’s good enough for my clients,” he explains, having applied the same living standards to his projects.

This holistic sensibility pays off in the structural integrity and sustainability of M Residences’ town homes. Foregoing natural wood in its material components has resulted in fire and termite resistant structures.

He fondly refers to these monochromatic canvases for residents to decorate entirely their own as “city villas,” wherein their inherent designs require less energy consumption and improves cross-ventilation.

SLICE OF A GOOD LIFE

Starting with a morning jog around the perimeter of a tranquil Acacia Estates, followed by brunch in the breezy lanai of their sunlit tropical home, the Consunjis, together with numerous growing families find simple pleasures in an oasis within the metro.

Capping off evenings with friends in an open space concept without sacrificing privacy, Consunji wishes to share mode of living to generations of homeowners. With this intent, he leads VCI in creatively reinventing and democratising the luxurious potentials behind urban spaces in spite of the norm. n

M RESIDENCES is in Acacia Estates, Taguig. Other locations include Mowelfund, New Manila and Capitol Hills in Quezon City. For inquiries, email info@vconsunji.com or visit acaciaestates.net
