There is no uestion that the disciplines of art and design are distinct from each other, but at the same time, irrevocably intertwined. There has, indeed, been a long-standing correlation between the artist and the designer a way of playing with the aspects of form and function to create an aesthetic that appeals to all the senses.

or interior designer igs Adefuin and business partner Oliver Orti , this serves as the guiding principle that enables them to create and curate distinctive living spaces for their clients through the evocative and eclectic collections featured at Sigvard Selections.

eaturing an extensive selection of furniture, home accents, and ob ets d’art sourced both locally and from overseas, Sigvard Selections serves as a playground and workshop where designers and clients can craft luxurious spaces that feature the best in both aesthetics and personal comfort.

As Adefuin puts it, Art is everywhere, not ust on the wall. It can be found on the furniture pieces that you have, the fabrics that cover the chairs, and even your plates because everything is designed as a form of art.

Sigvard Selections’s expansive studio features furniture and accessories classified in expertly laid out thematic clusters ranging from relaxed Mediterranean to bold Oriental. The uni ue set-up of the store displays veers away from the typical look but don’t touch layout presented by many of their contemporaries. In doing so, the shop invites clients to be inspired to create a uni ue look for their own spaces.

The studio also features the works of some of the most notable names in modern contemporary Philippine art an illustrious roster that includes ose oya, ederico Alcua , Hernando Ocampo, Arturo Lu , omulo Ola o, Mauro Malang, ernando bel, Onib Olmedo, Oscar alameda, Mario Parial, and ustin Nuyda. There are also pieces from young yet established artists like Orley pon and ey Aurelio as a way of opening clients’ eyes to new developments on the scene. While not for sale, the strategic placement of each masterpiece gives clients an idea as to how they can best integrate art into their homes and, in doing so, infuse a spark of welcome creativity and inspiration into their lives.
