Skin101 partners with Merz Aesthetics to help individuals grow confident in their own skin

Skin101 recently launched its latest campaign, #Skin101Society, which celebrates the traits that make each individual unique, from beliefs to physical appearances. The ambassadors are composed of creative entrepreneurs and influential bloggers like Patricia Henson and Jeline Catt, who stand for individuality. In an ef fort to spread confidence especially in the advent of social media, #Skin101Society encourages people to love themselves despite imperfections.

“Operating a mallbased practice in dermatology was, then, an exception and not the rule,” says Dr Jennie FranciscoDiaz who started Skin101 in 2004. “Patients had to visit a hospital if they wanted quality skincare,” explains the board certified dermatologist who sought to change this.

In 2004, she established her practice in malls to reach a vast majority of Filipinos. Since then, the brand has specialised in dermatology, cosmetic surgery, and laser procedures. FranciscoDiaz’ vision was simple—with a welltrained team of professionals at the helm, Skin101 would offer quality treatments at reasonable prices and accessible locations.

“We utilise only the best products and equipment for our patients,” adds FranciscoDiaz. In all 14 branches, the signature diamond peel is lauded for clearing acne while Revlite is known as treatment for pores and pigmentation. Vital to the brand’s industry position is its longstanding partnership with Merz Aesthetics, the pharmaceutical company that brought the revolutionary Ulthera system.

“It’s the closest you will get to the results of a facelift without going under the knife,” says FranciscoDiaz who has been offering Ultherapy for six years now. The US FDA cleared procedure for lifting and tightening skin takes under an hour and lasts for up to two years. Sagging skin is lifted with Ultherapy, fine lines and wrinkles are targeted wtih Xeomin botulinium toxin, and fat loss is replaced with Belotero hyaluronic acid fillers. Xeomin is a pure antiwrinkle injectable ideal for crow’s feet and forehead lines.
