Think Happy Thoughts
Driven by its “do good, feel good” mindset, Chopard Parfums rolls out its Lemon Dulci and Felicia Roses, the first two scents in the Happy Chopard Collection
Timeless and charming, the pieces in Chopard’s Happy Diamonds jewellery collection have long been loved by women across generations. Now, the playfulness of the dancing diamonds has been captured and translated into a new collection—this time, in an array of feel-good scents—a testimony to the brand’s creative and exuberant spirit.
For the Happy Chopard Collection, the goal was to develop fragrances using natural ingredients and essential oils that supposedly trigger the brain’s “happy molecules,” inspiring a good mood in whoever spritzes it on. Up for the task was French perfumer Dora Baghriche, whose perspective on modern fragrances and understanding of the current generation of perfume enthusiasts appealed to Chopard Co-Director Caroline Scheufele. Instinctively drawn to the use of natural ingredients, Baghriche explored unusual combinations, and experimented with colours, smells, and even tastes. For her, the entire process felt like “bold vegan gastronomy,” where she was encouraged to be audacious with her choices.
Promoting the idea of ethical luxury for the elegant, free-spirited woman as well as capturing the essence of Scheufele’s own bohemian chic lifestyle, Chopard Parfums came up with Lemon Dulci and Felicia Roses, the first two scents in the collection.
Felicia Roses, in particular, is a sweeter, more aromatic scent, highlighted by red and purple berries, pink grapefruit, blackcurrant, and roses. Geranium and ylang-ylang bring about the feel-good factor, while tonka adds a soothing note.
An advocate of sustainable luxury through its “do good, feel good” olfactive philosophy, Chopard Parfums aims to be at the forefront of creating exceptional fragrances for the discerning consumer.
