“This year, we are capturing the warmth, comfort and cheer evident in the festive culture of the Philippines”— John Rice

ye, it’s that cheerful, toss-yourdiets-out-of-the-window time of the year again. At the commencement of the “‘ ber” months, our social calendars have slowly, but surely, filled up—and perhaps we have neglected to lock in a Christmassy and delicious plan for Noche Buena (Midnight Feast), Christmas lunch or dinner. Let us not forget a sparkly toast to the New Year with loved ones for that matter!

For three years now, the five-star property has pulled out all the stops for the Christmas holidays, from festive treats and sumptuous banquets, to warm and fuzzy staycation offers. General Manager John Rice couldn’t have said it better. “This is something we look forward to at Shangri-La at the Fort each year. We go through each detail of the season—from the crafting of the menus, to creating the seasonal beverages, and exploring designs for our décor. We understand that this time of the year is very special to our guests, colleagues, and friends.”

“This year,” Rice adds, “we are capturing the warmth, comfort, and cheer intrinsic to the festive culture of the Philippines. We want to showcase how the culture comes alive, most especially in this season of love, family, and celebration.”

Expect no less than hearty, premium dishes from the Josper grill and decadent multi-course menus at Raging Bull Chophouse & Bar. Enjoy a spectrum of Chinese delights and dimsum from Canton Road while colourful and truly festive Peruvian spreads await at Samba.

For a full-on banquet-style carvery, High Street Café will have a smorgasbord of family favourites such as the ubiquitous roasted turkey with stuffing, porchetta, and ham; at High Street Lounge, guests will adore the Christmas-themed afternoon tea sets created by Executive Pastry Chef Anthony Collar; and, last but not least, the Festive Goodie Counter
