Josie Natori declares her love for fine jewellery in her newest collection with an East-meets-West aesthetic

“Truth be told, I have a fetish for fine jewellery—not lingerie, as some might assume! Fine jewellery is the next natural progression in our mission to create East-meetsWest lifestyle concepts,” says Josie Natori, CEO, founder, and chief creative officer of her namesake brand. Natori debuts her first fine jewellery collection in collaboration with leading e-commerce jewellery retailer Angara.com. “I am thrilled we found a best-in-class partner in Angara terms of not only design and product development, but also e-commerce and supply chain,” Natori adds.

True to the namesake designer’s distinctive Eastmeets-West aesthetic, the first fine jewellery collection

from her brand represents its distinctive signature icons: Indochine, bamboo stalks, dragon, and kamon are intricately worked into earrings, pendants, necklaces, rings, and bracelets. These designs come to life in brilliant diamonds, pearls, precious and semi-precious stones in striking fi nishes and materials of yellow, white, and rose gold, sterling and midnight silver. Skillfully crafted by fi ne jewellery company Angara.com, Natori’s concept of ‘high fashion meets high tech’ aims to usher the business into the next century with this partnership.

The Natori Company, an iconic fashion brand founded in 1977, has pioneered loungewear fashion and is one of the industry’s most recognisable designer brands. From lingerie, sleepwear, resortwear to home textile and accessories, bath and fragrance, Natori has become synonymous with luxury.

Known as the leading vertically integrated fine jewellery B2C eCommerce retailer, Angara.com has been in the business for almost 400 years. Angara has reengineered the jewellery supply chain to sell custom-made gemstone jewellery in a Dell style model—each design is offered in up to 128 permutations. The jewellery piece is created from scratch and shipped within 48 hours from order placement.

The structure of this partnership reflects the future of distribution. “We strategised this collection with Direct-toConsumer top of mind,” said Ken Natori, president of Natori. “Customers will be able to order from our expansive fine jewellery collections; pieces are made to order, constructed, and shipped within two days. This is truly a game-changing partnership for us.”

Each of the Natori brand collections, now including fine jewellery, is available in the world’s leading retailers including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales. In the Philippines, Natori is available in all of Rustans’ Department stores.

“Fine jewellery is the next natural progression in our mission to create East-meets-West lifestyle concepts”
