FURNitalia reaps a bountiful harvest at the 2020 Wallpaper* Design Awards

If Florence Ko is walking around these days with a victorious smile on her face, she has three good reasons. Three of the furniture brands carried by FURNitalia, the company she founded and co-owns with her husband William, have just won in the prestigious Wallpaper* Design Awards 2020. Poltrona Frau, Molteni & C, and Giorgetti have been FURNitalia’s star brands since way back. “I have been retailing the three for almost 18 years now,” she says, beaming with pride.

“I am so grateful to God for guiding me in choosing these brands which put art and love together in creating beautiful products.”

The Wallpaper* Design Awards are given out annually by Wallpaper*, a publication under the British TI Media conglomerate. Launched in 1996, the award body focuses on design and architecture, fashion, travel, art, and lifestyle. All three awardees are on display at FURNitalia’s flagship store (30th Street corner Rizal Drive) at Bonifacio Global City.

FURNitalia, the first distributor of high-end Italian furniture brands, has grown to include three other companies—Space

2000, Calligaris, and Lucem—under the parent company Gruppo Mobili Philippines, Inc, of which Ko is the managing director.
