Listening: I’ve been listening to the entire After Hours album from The Weeknd, perfect for the 24x7 work mode we are all going through during this lockdown. I’ve also started listening to more Spanish music to connect with my roots after two years of not going back home. There’s an amazing artist called C Tangana that has been breaking records; he even made it to Spotify’s top 20 worldwide.

Watching: My wife (Samantha Hiranand) and I have been watching a lot of movies at home; we started a habit of watching a movie together every night. We even started watching some amazing old movies like those of John Ford and Akira Kurosawa. I love interviews and talk shows so I was able to catch up on all the Joe Rogan episodes I missed and started following a lot of David Rubenstein’s YouTube interviews, the one with Jeff Bezos is my favourite.

Reading: I have tried to read more classics this year and not just business books. I felt it was the best way to compensate for not being able to travel. I really enjoyed Kapuscinski; both his The Emperor and The Shadow of the Sun are fantastic.
