Manila epicures will soon enjoy the award-winning culinary talents of this esteemed chef and restaurateur and his team as he opens a new dining concept near EDSA Beverage Design Studio’s location. It will be a mix of bar, bistro and fine dining, a little different from Antonio’s heritage cuisine. Escalante remains a stalwart figure in the Philippine dining scene with this project in the pipeline and the success of the recently launched Pedro the Grocer, a retail food market that brings quality local produce to Metro Manila. On the horizon, he sees Breakfast at Antonio’s being expanded throughout Metro Manila, supported by a bakery commissary, and developing more products unique to his award-winning restaurant group’s DNA.
