WHY GO

The menu offers traditional Japanese gastronomy at its healthy best—absolutely fresh seafood, luscious and tender meat dishes, and superbly crispy tempura.

TATLER TIPS

The main draw is the kaisen hitsumabushi— a complete meal in itself featuring 12 different kinds of seafood in the style of the celebrated Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo. This includes the triumvirate of tuna, salmon, and mackerel, plus fish roes, sardines, octopus, and sea urchin. Rice is mixed in to make a delectable mélange. Gratifyingly good teppanyaki fare is the beef usuyaki, which, initially, may look intimidating because of the serving size but you will polish off every juicy beef chunk in no time. Round off the meal with a mix and match variation of the tempura and sashimi sets. The tenzaru udon is very tempting for noodle fans.
