TATLER TIPS
Of all of chef JP Anglo’s edgy “JP-Q” grilled sticks (beef, pork, and chicken), the spicy chicken isaw reigns supreme. The sinigang fried chicken wings is comfort food at its finest with a good crunch to it and an addictive subtly savoury zing. The wildcard here is the atay (chicken liver) with chocolate sauce and it is exquisitely savoury-sweet rich all at once. Follow up the succulent coconut grilled liempo (pork belly) with the filling sizzling monggo with lechon kawali. The chocolate pumpkin balls are so addicting (believe it or not, the chocolate is melted Flat Tops!) and one serving of the sizzling budbud ( with ube butter and coco pandan coffee cream) just isn’t enough.
