The experience doesn’t come cheap especially if you go for traditional delicacies like abalone or shark’s fin. But for topnotch typhoon shelter crab and other live seafood dishes, Xiu is the only game in town. Other stand-outs include the honey-glazed prime cut char siu that’s perfect as an appetiser and the Chinese lettuce with shrimp paste in claypot, which is not only flavourful but healthy as well. The cheesy e-fu noodles with lobster is as kid-friendly as mac n’ cheese.
