‘Tanim-bala’ game launched

- By TESSA DISTOR

The public is now in control if they do not want their luggage to be implanted with bullets – at least in a mobile game application.

At the height of the reports on “tanim-bala” (bullet-planting) scheme at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the “Tanim Bala the Mobile Game” was made available for Android users at the Google Play Store.

The game works by having users control the male character holding a red baggage through the arrows located at the side of the screen. To earn points, they have to avoid the bullets being dropped by four identical characters dressed as airport security officials.

“These greedy administrators want to plant a bullet in your bag and if they succeed, you’ll end up paying them; of course, you would not let them do that”, read the game’s description at the download page of the Play Store.

The developer of the game is “Kulit Games”.

As of this writing, 414 users have reviewed the application; it has received an average of 4.7 out of 5 ratings.

A certain Karlo Gutang said on his review, “Love the graphics, love the sound, love how it’s satire but really quite accurate… Maybe come up with a similar game to take on the PDAF scam?”

“This game reflects the worst airport. Best game to mock the Ninoy Aquino International Airport with its corrupt officials”, one Maui Jaramillo said.
