2 shot dead in Manila

Two men were gunned down by three men in San Miguel, Manila Friday, police said yesterday. Reports identified one of the victims as Lampa Sani Ismael, around 35 to 40-years-old while the other victim was described to be also around 35 to 40-years-old. Police said the shooting incident happened at around 7:30 a.m. on Masindao St. at the Islamic Center on the fourth floor of a building under construction. Both victims died on the spot due multiple bullet wounds. Police recovered 37 spent shells from various guns and a small heat-sealed transparent sachet of suspected shabu from the pocket of Ismael. Police are still conducting a follow-up operation to arrest the suspects identified as Abdul Khair Gunting, Capgo Macabato, and Acmali Macabato and determine the motive behind the killing.
