Early morning accident

A member of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority died when the motorcycle he was driving rammed the center island of the Quezon Bridge in Manila yesterday. Reports identified the victim as Pio Bolito of Novaliches, Quezon City and a member of MMDA Security Clearing and Operations Group. Reports said Bolito was driving on the bridge when his motorcycle suddenly crashed into the center island. The victim was taken to the Philippine General Hospital on Taft Ave. in Manila but was pronounced dead on arrival.
