Father kills son in Isabela

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – A 50-yearold farmer allegedly hacked his son to death in Barangay Flores, Naguilian, Isabela Thursday.

Chief Insp. Sherwin Concha, Naguilian chief of police, identified the suspect as Oscar Baquirin.

Police said the suspect had an argument with his son Leo, 33, on the victim’s farm planted with various crops.

The suspect hacked his son several times while he was resting in a hammock. Leo was nearly beheaded and died on the spot.

Oscar voluntaril­y surrender to the police after the incident.

The suspect has been charged with parricide.
