Brothers shot dead

GENERAL SANTOS CITY – Two brothers were killed in Barangay Batulawan, Pikit, North Cotabato early dawn yesterday after allegedly shooting it out with authorities. According to Chief Inspector Romy Castanares, Pikit police chief, the slain suspects, identified as Andamen and Pisko Sapalon, were among top drug peddlers in the area. Their cohorts, Samer Samad, Johaina Lebarios and Baina Tauden, are now in the custody of police. Seized during the operation were several grams of shabu and two .45 caliber handguns.
