Lady cop nabbed during shabu session

An active member of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) was arrested with two others after they were caught engaged in a shabu session yesterday in Barangay Tuktukan, Taguig City.

Arrested were PO3 Lynn Tubig, 38, a member of the PNP-SAF detailed at Force Support Batallion in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, and John Vincent German, 21, and Fernando German, 43, both residents of Kakawayanan, Purok 6, Barangay Tuktukan, Taguig City.

Initial investigation revealed that the three were arrested around 12:30 p.m. Kakawayanan, Purok 6, Barangay Tuktukan, Taguig City.

A certain "Mrs. Geronimo" initially reported to members of the Police Community Precinct 6 of the Taguig City Police that she was a victim of a thief. Probers then went to the theft victim’s place to look for the suspect.

During the follow-up operation, cops spotted the alleged suspect who was carrying a gun and immediately ran towards shanties where the three were eventually spotted by the police engaged in a pot session.

The trio immediately arrested, confiscating from them three heatsealed sachets of suspected shabu weighing 1.5 grams, 41 pieces of live ammunition of a caliber 5.56 firearm, seven pieces of a caliber .9mm, and five pieces of 12 gauge live ammunition.

Police also recovered two empty packs of suspected shabu, a lighter, aluminum foil strips and a roll of aluminum foil. PO3 Tubig confessed that she was indeed using illegal drugs.

The suspects and confiscated evidence will be turned over to the Station Drug Enforcement Unit for proper disposition.
