Glitz and glam at first-ever Queen of WEMSAP coronation night
A FUN night was had by all those present when the Web Marketers Specialists Association of the Philippines (WEMSAP) staged the first-ever Queen of WEMSAP pageant at the Aliw Theater.
The mood was festive, with hundreds of pageant fans crowding the venue hours before the event even started.
Some were carrying balloons of different colors, while others waved posters of their chosen candidates.
Pandemonium ensued when the candidates were finally introduced.
Each of the candidates made the most of the occasion wearing the most outlandish costumes even as they also dished choice nuggets that elicited laughter from the crowd.
Crowned first-ever Queen of WENSAP is Miss South Africa who went home ₱500,000 richer. The Queen’s Court includes Miss Mexico (World), who won ₱200,000; Miss Puerto Rico (International), who won ₱100,000; Miss Thailand (Earth), who won
₱50,000; and, last but not the least, Miss Uruguay (Supranational), who won, ₱25,000.
WEMSAP is an organization of Online Marketing Centers (OMCs) with full recognition of the government that focus on handling non-voice accounts in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry.
With Queen of WEMSAP, the association hopes to enhance camaraderie among its workforce even as it also aims to foster understanding and awareness concerning the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.
