ILIGAN CITY – Police rescued five minors and arrested a mother during a raid on a cybersex den targeting children at Purok San Miguel, Barangay Tubod here, Wednesday.

The operation was conducted by members of the Women and Children Protection Center-Mindanao Field Unit (WCPC-FEU), Iligan City Police Office and Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Police identified the suspect as Jenelyn Ymbong Delostrico, the alleged operator of the cybersex den. Recovered from her was cellular phone.

Senior Inspector James M. Daleon, Iligan City Police Station 4 commander, said the suspect was traced through her Facebook account where transactions for online pornography were made.

“Ang account ng subject natin ay napasok ng mga investigator natin na nagpapanggap na clients; mga foreigners ang mga investigator,” Daleon said.

The suspect sent nude photos and videos of the minors aged two to 10, one of whom is her daughter while the four others are her neighbors.

Jenelyn said she received ₱1,000 and ₱1,500 only from her clients.

The police official said Jenelyn’s daughter, 10, invited the other kids to play inside their small rented house, fed them and gave them chocolates while the mother was taking videos of them. “Hindi alam ng mga bata na binivideohan sila,” Daleon said.

He added that the parents of the other kids got mad at the suspect after learning of the incident.

The suspect will be slapped with human trafficking, child exploitation, child abuse, and child pornography charges.
