• BIGGEST TV ROLE: Her current series, Ngayon at Kailanman, can be considered her biggest break, at long last, as a teleserye lead.
Actress in reference is Iza Calzado, who has shown consistency in acting out the role of oppressed/vengeful Rebecca in said teledrama. A recent episode further called attention to Iza’s gifts as an actress as she finally realized Julia Barreto is her long lost daughter.
Iza was alternately moving as she was pathetic, a flood of tears rolling down her cheeks like some waterfalls in Mindanao. PROJECT WEDDING: In a re- cent conversation, Iza told us working on the teleserye plus a new movie for Iflix has been keeping her away from her other project, her own wedding.
Iza is set to marry her half-British, half-Filipino fiance, Ben Wintle, in a beach wedding at an undisclosed place.
Iza is the newest Belo bride. Under Dr. Vicki Belo’s supervision, she does RF treatments such as Venus Freeze.
