LIZ-QUEN ADMISSION: Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano admission that they’re officially together has been timed with the showing of their new film.
• SARAH AND MATTEO: Matteo Guidicelli’s signing a 5-year management contract with Viva signals start of the actor’s joint projects with girlfriend Sarah Geronimo.
It’s time Matteo and Sarah appeared together in a first movie, before it’s too late. Even then, at their present age, they can’t be playing tweetums roles therein.

ANVIL BUSINESS CLUB: Joined Anvil Business Club February 1 as members shared with residents of Camarin and Barracks, Caloocan City, boxes and boxes of ticoy in celebration of Chinese New Year (Feb 5).
Special guest Presidential Asst. Bong Go graced the occasion, with Cesar Montano in tow. Thick crowds prevented me from taking shots of them, so I had to content myself with a pose and a post by my friend, Wilson Lee Flores, former president of Anvil.
By the way, Joseph Marco played Bong Go in a February 9 episode of MMK.

WISH YOU LUCK: Anvil Business Club’s young Filipino Chinese entrepreneurs distributed 10,000 free ticoy for urban poor families in Caloocan. Together with SPAP Bong Go at this civic project were Anvil officers led by chairman Wilson Lee Flores, president Patrick Cua, honorary chairman Reynold Siy, honorary chairman Marcelo Co and project head Joeben Tai.
Anvil’s project of sharing 10,000 tikoy is the young Filipino Chinese entrepreneurs’ way of wishing the Philippines a prosperous new year. Anvil has many economic and civic projects, like free college scholarships, disaster relief donations and the annual Sept. 28 Teachers Day honoring all Philippine teachers on this birthdate of great teacher Confucius.
