UST crushes STI-Batangas

University of Santo Tomas returned to its winning ways after beating STI-Balagtas, 74-60, in the 25-under division of the Milcu Sports Basketball presented by Got Skills Hard to Guard at Lourdes School Mandaluyong.

McCoy Marcos scored 13 points, Nat Cosejo had 12 points and nine rebounds and Ken Zamora added 11 points and four rebounds as the Growling Tigers bounced back from a 59-40 loss to Trinity University of Asia two weeks ago.

Over at the Philadelphia High School Gym, Chiang Kai Shek downed Don Bosco Technical College, 81-57, in the 19-under category.

Kenneth Gaviola finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds while James Garucho and Cyrus Vibal added 14 and 13 points, respectively, for the Blue Dragons.

In other results, International School of Manila ripped Southridge, 49-26, in the 12-under, and UST routed Lourdes School, 7935, in the 13-under.
