Pacquiao to hold first major concert
FOR the first time, world-boxing champion and Senator Manny Pacquiao will hold a solo concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Sept. 1.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to share with my fans my passion in music. That’s the problem – I love music but music doesn’t love me. But I keep on going,” said a smiling Pacquiao during a press conference in Makati City, Friday.
Pacman said the concert is free.
“My fans don’t have to pay anything,” he maintained.
Details as to how to get free tickets will be announced later, he said.
Pacquiao, who has already recorded several hit songs, considers the concert his comeback to the music scene.
There will be guest stars at the concert, which will be telecast in other Asian countries. “I need to have duets because it’s difficult to sing many songs alone,” Pacquiao said. Produced by Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) and in partnership with ALV Events International, the musical event will launch the PAC Token, which are quantifiable and exchangeable.
