The peregrine falcon is particular­ly swift, capable of reaching speeds of up to 200 mph during a dive. Thus it is considered a fearsome hunter. it is the fastest animal on the planet when on a dive.

On the other hand, the fastest sea animal, says Conservati­on fnstituteI is the sail fish. ft can speed up to 68 miles per hour.

But of course, the fastest animal in the world is the cheetah.

Says Conservati­on institute: “This animal is actually only slightly faster than the pronghorn antelope, and can reach speeds of up to 61 miles per hour. This record was set by an 11 year old cheetah in 2012 named Sarah.’’ Beware, the cheetah is a predator, a serious threat to animals that are just as fast.
