Here are more: Joel Lamangan’s “Rainbow Sunset.” Special Jury Prize, best story innovation (Eric Ramos), best actors (Eddie Garcia, Tony Mabesa) – 52nd Worldwide Houston International Film Festival in Texas, USA. Chito Roño’s “Signal Rock.” Best film, ASEAN International Film Festival. Best actor Christian Bables, best screenplay Rody Vera. Vera also won best script at the 17th Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh. Dan Villegas’ “Hintayan ng Langit.” Golden Samaritan Lion Award at the 2019 International Film Festival: East & West Classics and Avant Garde in Orenburg, Russia. Zig Dulay’s “Bagahe.” Critics Special Mention and Peoples Choice Award at the 15th Festival du Film Transsaharien in Zagora, Morocco.
Khavin de la Cruz’s “Balangiga: Howling Wilderness.”
Special Jury Prize at the 5th Bangkok Asean Film Festival in Thailand.
Matthew Rosen’s “Quezon’s Game.” It won four trophies at the 52nd Worldwide Houston International Film festival in Texas USA: best international feature, Special Jury Award, best art direction, best director.
Louie Ignacio’s “Ngiti ng Nazareno.” Jury Prize, Innunedo International Film Festival in Milan, Italy, (short film). Louie’s feature film, “School Service,” won the Orient Express Special Jury Prize at the 39th Oporto Fantasporto International Film Festival in Porto, Portugal.
