Here are more: Joel Lamangan’s “Rainbow Sunset.” Special Jury Prize, best story innovation (Eric Ramos), best actors (Eddie Garcia, Tony Mabesa) – 52nd Worldwide Houston Internatio­nal Film Festival in Texas, USA. Chito Roño’s “Signal Rock.” Best film, ASEAN Internatio­nal Film Festival. Best actor Christian Bables, best screenplay Rody Vera. Vera also won best script at the 17th Dhaka Internatio­nal Film Festival in Bangladesh. Dan Villegas’ “Hintayan ng Langit.” Golden Samaritan Lion Award at the 2019 Internatio­nal Film Festival: East & West Classics and Avant Garde in Orenburg, Russia. Zig Dulay’s “Bagahe.” Critics Special Mention and Peoples Choice Award at the 15th Festival du Film Transsahar­ien in Zagora, Morocco.

Khavin de la Cruz’s “Balangiga: Howling Wilderness.”

Special Jury Prize at the 5th Bangkok Asean Film Festival in Thailand.

Matthew Rosen’s “Quezon’s Game.” It won four trophies at the 52nd Worldwide Houston Internatio­nal Film festival in Texas USA: best internatio­nal feature, Special Jury Award, best art direction, best director.

Louie Ignacio’s “Ngiti ng Nazareno.” Jury Prize, Innunedo Internatio­nal Film Festival in Milan, Italy, (short film). Louie’s feature film, “School Service,” won the Orient Express Special Jury Prize at the 39th Oporto Fantasport­o Internatio­nal Film Festival in Porto, Portugal.
