3 Manila barangays placed under ECQ

Mayor Isko Moreno said yesterday that three barangays in Manila are under enhanced community quarantine for 48 hours to curb the spread of COVID-19 starting tomorrow.

Barangay 60 in Zone 5, Barangay 163 in Zone 14, and Barangay 844 in Zone 92, will be under ECQ from 12 a.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. Saturday.

The imposition of ECQ was requested by their barangay officials and that during this period, the Manila Health Department will conduct disease surveillance, verification, and testing, and rapid risk assessment.

These areas have 34 combined COVID cases.
