Fake ID used to claim cash aid in Caloocan
Thanks to social medial, a barangay personnel in Caloocan City was caught using a falsified identification card in a remittance center to claim the cash assistance of another resident.
Barangay 185 head Ronnie Masaoay, whose personnel was allegedly involved in the incident, confirmed this a er it was posted on Facebook.
Masaoay did not provide any other details, but the Facebook post claimed that the female personnel’s illicit activity was discovered after the staff of the remittance center claimed that the barangay personnel had already claimed the cash aid three times under different names.
Masaoay said he already ordered a preventive suspension against the personnel who also offered to voluntarily resign following the incident.
