Velasquez social media is is sad being that used and abused to bash people, especially artists, for one reason or the other. Or no reason at all.
She felt Socmed – and rightly so – ought to be used for good, like breaking and information, important greeting news friends, and expressing feelings and sentiments. Certainly not to destroy reputations and careers.
Regine is speaking from experience. She’s been bashed time and again, the latest when she transferred to ABS-CBN from GMA. Early on, even her and Ogie
Alcasid’s son Nate was bashed. Imagine an innocent child being bashed by people with no names and faces.
The singer-actress is doing something about it. She’s talking to socmed legal experts to make it easier to track down bashers… and bring action against them. Regine was told it was best to ignore bashers. She agrees… “But there are times you have to defend yourself.”
So there, bashers beware, you’ve been
warned: ‘REGINE AT THE MOVIES’ – But on to a more pleasant topic, like “Regine at the Movies,” set for three nights with different guests this month at the New Frontier Theatre ( formerly Kia).
