ABS-CBN triumphant in November

ABS-CBN remained the top ranking network in the country last November as it delivered news and values-laden stories to more Filipinos nationwide, hitting an average audience share of 45%, or 15-points higher than its rival’s 30%, according to data from Kantar Media.

The Kapamilya network won in both urban and rural homes, particular­ly in Mega Manila where it scored an average audience share of 37%, and in Metro Manila where it garnered 43%.

ABS-CBN also led in Total Luzon with 40%; in Total Visayas with 53%; and in Total Mindanao with 53%.

“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyan­o” (40.3%) remained unshaken on the top spot last month, followed by ABS-CBN’s flagship newscast “TV Patrol” (30.6%).

Also part of the top ten shows in the country are “Ngayon at Kailanman” (29.1%), “Halik” (26.2%), “The Kids’ Choice” (25.9%), “Wansapanat­aym” (25.1%), “Home Sweetie Home” (22.2.), “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (22%), and “Meteor Garden” (21.9%). ABS-CBN also won across all time blocks, particular­ly in primetime where it registered an average audience share of 49%, 19-points higher than its rival’s 30%.

The Kapamilya network also ruled the morning block with an average audience share of 37%; the noontime block with 43%; and the afternoon block with 45%.
