LEAD­ING lo­cal news chan­nel GMA News TV has teamed up with the Depart­ment of Health (DOH) to bring two new week­end pro­grams to be ban­nered by Ka­puso stars Max Collins, Pan­cho Magno, and Rocco Na­cino.

First to air yes­ter­day was “Healthy Ever Af­ter,” a talk and life­style pro­gram on fam­ily health hosted by new­ly­weds Pan­cho and Max.

For its pilot episode, “Healthy Ever Af­ter” tack­led fam­ily plan­ning and its im­por­tance to the Filipino fam­ily. Mean­while, Rocco will host “The Healthy Juan,” a health talk show about de­gen­er­a­tive dis­eases air­ing ev­ery Sun­day at 8 p.m. be­gin­ning to­day. A nurs­ing grad­u­ate him­self, Rocco will talk about men­tal health, de­pres­sion, sui­cide, healthy ag­ing, and or­gan do­na­tion. He will be joined by re­source per­sons who will dis­cuss the im­por­tance of hav­ing a mind­set that dis­abil­ity should not be a hin­drance to liv­ing a nor­mal life.

For his first episode, Rocco will sit down with those suf­fer­ing from de­pres­sion. Who would have thought that model, singer, ac­tress, and so­cial me­dia in­flu­encer Solenn Heussaff also ex­pe­ri­enced de­pres­sion?

Rocco also vis­its the fam­ily of a teenager who committed sui­cide be­cause of de­pres­sion. What led to the young woman to take her life?

“Healthy Ever Af­ter” is di­rected by King Mark Baco while “The Healthy Juan” is di­rected by Adolf Alix, Jr.

Catch “Healthy Ever Af­ter” ev­ery Satur­day at 5:30 p.m. and “The Healthy Juan” ev­ery Sun­day at 8 p.m. on GMA News TV.
